  • Plays Tonight w/ some stats

This line keeps going up and up so I may wait to play this. Put a few trends in my post today, for whatever weight you put on them.

There are a lot of stats to back the Yanks tonight:
-11-2 on the year as home favorite of -200 or more
-Byrd last 5 starts of regular season (1-3, 6.83 ERA)
-Tribe 0-1 as an underdog of +175 - +200 this year
-Byrd allowed 7 runs and 7 hits in a season-low two innings during an 11-2 loss on Aug. 11 against the Yanks

    Key trends for the Tribe:
    -42-23 coming off a loss
-Wang has never pitched on 3 days rest
-12 and 4 on Monday night (Maybe they have Monday Magic)

I believe thay the pressure is still on the Yanks but I believe that the Tribe are the better team. I also think that Byrd comes up big tonight (call it a hunch).

Good Luck. Paul Byrd was the only starter in the 2005 playoffs to beat the Whitesox. I have a feeling he steps it up big time tonight.
