I actually like Detroit I just didn't post it.

Trust me I'm on it with you. I don't always post all my plays. :D :D

I live in the Detroit and know for a fact they WILL be ready for this game.

The only thing about it is Favre scares me. He has owned the Lions his whole career at home. Plus coming off a real sub per outting last week. He will play good today.

I'm playing them in a three way teaser with:

Detroit +16 1/2

New England +14 1/2

Tampa Bay + 1/2

Just didn't post it. :D

Also a small amount on the Lions straight.

I didn't want to make NUT mad for posting against his Packers

Homer, If you change N.E. for Oakland then you would have my favorite teaser. I'm not sure where the Patriots heads are right now and Oakland should win. I also don't follow trends unless they are same season trends cause every team in every sport changes every year. I think Favre is really short on receivers and i think A. Green has a HUGE fantasy day catching and running. I still think that Detroit is Confident this year unlike the past and i also think they have a couple weapons to go against what i think is not a "Typical" G.B. Defense that is softer and will give up some points.

Goldvike-wouldn't it be something if Twins get into playoffs and defeat Yankees(as you know, they got totally wiped out and swept by Yanks this year) and Sox take care of whomever they play(probably Oakland) and they meet.
No offsense, but from my point of view as a huge Sox fan, I would much rather play the Twins than Yanks or Whitesox;I bet wayne would agree.
However, if they Twins ever got by Yanks, I have to admit that would be scary.

I do agree though, i would like to play anyone but the White Sox and the Yankees. White Sox are scary and N.Y. always seems to beat us when it counts. Oakland has great pitching but their lineup does not scare me in the least! :D

The Twins

Remember this they should be watching out for the Twins. Their actually better the the White Sox. If the Twins pitching hold in there, they will take that division. :D :D

And I wouldn't want to face them in the playoffs. They will have nothing to lose.

MUCH better schedule for the Twins Homer but they just don't scare me for some reason. Man they could sure use David Ortiz though.:D

Obviously anything can happen in playoffs as we saw last year when Minn. surprised Oakland, and as stated if Minn beats NY(highly unlikely it would show they were onj a roll). that would be cause for concern.
That being said, after what I saw this weekend, White Sox are big trouble with that pitching especially in short series, and Yankees are Yankees.
Then again after 85 years of waiting(51 for me), who knows what can/will happen when Sox are involved.

All I can say is I can't wait for the bases post season. It is going to be Great and a lot of fun to watch :D :D :D
