Sweet "Lou", coach of the Chicago Cubs, has put an off season "pitching" plan into motion......Lou stated, he was gonna Give Zambrano, about 6 months of rest, so he can be ready for the opener for next season.....

Lou, stated, "yeh, I know you media guys are gonna second guess me, but I know my pitchers, I have confidence in my Bull Pen, and nobody knows "Maniac Zambrano", any better than I do....

Lou also stated.....

"I learned a lot from this last series, and I do agree with the Kaptain, the first game is very important to win, therefore; I'm gonna start Zambrano in our season opener......"
