The hand-wringing by Red Sox fans the last few weeks was inane. So they played only so-so down the stretch....who cares? There is no correlation between play in September and play in the post-season. Boston won the toughest division in baseball with relative ease. My bottom line is they have the best combination of offense, starting piching and closer of any team in baseball. Their three man rotation is solid and I'd rather have Papelbohn than any closer still in the playoffs. The above price represents strong value if the Yankees lose their series to Cleveland (very possible). Boston is -165 to win the Angels series meaning the break-even on the parlay would be +100 on the next series. If they play the Indians, they'll be -135 or so and if they play the Yankees, they'll be about +120.
