I can only assume that physically and mentally, the Phillies have to have the edge in game one. I'm a big Hamels fan too. Francis is good but (IMO) Hamels is the much better of the two. All roads lead to Philly for me in Game 1

When I was a sophmore in high school Hamels was a senior at Rancho Bernardo high. Most feared pitcher in the San Diego county at the time. Think he had something like a .33 ERA and about 1.7 strikeouts per inning his senior year. I'll be rooting. Bummer I have to miss the game for class.
