  • Ohio States O is suspect--D looks good--Robiske and Hartline are studs...I agree big time about Penn State--I think they get by this week at Purdue but PSU is a different story..PSU has had a lot of hard luck.

Isn't Cleveland the hottest team going into the playoffs with 2 studs at the top of the rotation? Not sure I understand the series line other than to say it seems like the typical overhyped line on the Yanks.

                  That is a head-scratcher
You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.

Yeah, it's definitely all on the SP in this one. I think if they can keep NYY at 5 or under, good chance they win with the NYY suspect pitching. If NYY strikes early, look out!. Unfortunately, my flight back is at 5:30 eastern, so if you count boarding, in flight, and getting home (about 10 mins from airport), I'm gonna miss the first six innings or so of game 2.

As for OSU too, I was hoping for a 3.5 or 4 point spread this weekend to load up on them, but 6.5 could be pretty close. Although I thought the same thing when they destroyed Iowa last year. If nice that b/c of TV they have three 8 PM road that ensures more lively crowds than normal thanks to the extra 8 hour sof tailgating, haha. I was worried about Purdue till I saw them play ND. Any team that gives up 3 TDs to ND can't be that good.

Yanks have done very well against Cleveland. Cleveland has struggled with this team and with the public always on the SPanks hence the line---I like the Indians to stay in this thing---they finished strong but I don't know if they have enough.

                      • Just turned to the baseball on the commerical for MNF....why is Peavy still in? I know he just hit 100 pitches, but he obviously doesn't have his good stuff tonight. Why not Heath Bell?

Yeah, and CC didn't face them all year either. It's just the "Yankees tax."

I say leave him in! He has yet to throw a 9th inning pitch all year.

                            SF! 6-5 Rox!

                            • OK Rox. Just keep bangin it to CF, as they don't have any one to field the position. Missing Cameron it seems

I have seen Purdue play a few games this year and they have packed a lead then packed it in---hence the C, Michigan game...they ended up scoring late to cover but to me it seems they have relaxed in the second half...We shall see..
