Philadelphia Eagles halfback Brian Westbrook, offensive tackle William Thomas, cornerback Lito Sheppard and safety Brian Dawkins were all inactive for Sunday night's game against the New York Giants.

Westbrook, who led the NFC in rushing with 291 yards after last week and was the conference's player of the week after gaining a combined 221 rushing and receiving against Detroit, was sidelined with a pulled abdominal muscle. He did not practice this week.

Dawkins was inactive for the second straight week with a neck injury, while Sheppard was out for the second straight week with a knee injury. Thomas sprained a knee last week.

Giants halfback Derrick Ward and receiver Plaxico Burress, who were questionable with ankle injuries, were both in the starting lineup.
