As a Mets fan in Oklahoma... What an absolute meltdown in a season where we led practically wire to wire only to blow the whole thing against some of the sorriest teams in mlb. I am disgusted to the max amount. Congrats Phillies fans you deserve to be in since the Mets couldnt even beat you one game in the season. How sickening.DAMN!!!

Congrats Philly phans is right.... as a met fan since 69, this is one of the most painful things i've ever had to watch... Phils kicked our ass 8 times in a row, we didn't deserve to finish ahead of them.... the meltdown isn't as much of a surprise after seeing the 4-14 slide in June and the mediocre July and August, the season was lost as much then as in the last 2 weeks, if they played better all summer they would have been alot more than 7 games ahead...

This just in.... concession stands at Shea next year will be replacing popcorn with Prozac!
