I only posted once this season and went 0-3 that day. Let's try again.
193 Cincinnati -13.5 I played this one a few days ago after Kaptain posted his big play. Bought 1/2 point. It's 14.5 now on my book. Mostly riding Kaptain's coattails on this one. Posted rotation numbers in his honor also.
1163 OU Sooners -14 First 1/2
1146 UT Longhorns -8 First 1/2
Sooners and Horns meet next week in the Red River Shootout. One could logically argue that it's a lookahead situation for both these teams. Maybe so. I played one last week that is unusual for me (Horns -39). I watched most of the game. Granted, it was Rice, but I think Mack Brown must have played everyone on his bench in the second half. Texas may be finally gelling. They looked really good. K-State beat them last year so there is a little revenge angle.
OU, well, they're pretty strong this year. I haven't seen the Buffaloes play but from what I hear their freshman QB coach's son is not quite yet ready for prime time and their offensive line is not good. Sounds like their defense is decent.
Here's my reasoning for the first half plays. Feel free to shoot holes in it. I think both Brown and Stoops would like to get a big lead and maybe not play all the starters the whole game so as to minimize injury risk prior to the game in big D next week. Whether they can or not is another question. OU has covered every first-half and game spread so far. OK, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Good luck today.
