To be really honest with you John .. I am glad they made it to the playoffs but i am not excited at all ... My day today would be the exact same if they lost ... I am so immune to them it really does not mean that much to me .. if they lost the sun is still shining brightly today ... I wish i could share the excitement with you .. Been there, done that ... I know you and many have also ... but for me, it is not worth the let down

Now, if they make it into the WS then I will be like you ... but for now, especially with their record and division ... tough for me to celebrate ...


Hope you and other Cub fans understand .. just the way I feel after being disappointed all these years ...
