My Posted Records are finally updated. The last time i updated them was July 15th so it's been awhile. Hopefully i don't fall that far behind again because it is a nightmare catching it up!

"Touchdown" (
Units)
..................................................
Houston -2.5 (-120)
This isn't the same old Texans. They have a QB they have confidence in and they are playing with a swagger they never have before. Houston trailed 14-0 @ Carolina and they came back to just Beat Down the Panthers. They also showed a ton of heart playing Indy with those injuries while falling just short in their comeback. This team will not lay down like in past years and they have some playmakers on defense that should be in Harrington's head all day long. I realize Green & Johnson are out for Houston but Ron Dayne ran fine in this offense last year and the WR's stepped up to share the wealth in Johnson's absence. They will have another week to get their timing together with Schaub and i don't see it as a problem. The big "Intangible" to me in this game is Matt Schaub's return to Atlanta. You know for a fact that he wants to show Falcons ownership what they are missing and you also know his teammates want it for him just as much. That in itself will bring a very motivated Texans team to Atlanta. I know one theory is that the Falcons are a team desperate for a win but i can't buy in to that. I'm sure they have been desperate after every loss and nothing was done about it. I don't care what Harrington's numbers are. He finds a way to lose it late or come up short in the end every time. He has no swagger and it shows in his record, in every city he has played in outside of Oregon. The Falcons are having a horrible time on special teams after letting Rossum go and now they spent half the week answering questions about D'angelo Hall. One team lacks confidence and the other is full of it. Give me the team who has the swagger, confidence, momentum and motivation to win this game. All 4 point to the Texans! Houston 27 Atlanta 17
Minnesota +2
I really like the Vikings here with the Packers coming off the Big Win. I really like Holcomb at QB as a pocket passer over Jackson, and i think Peterson will really open up the passing game with his legs. He (Holcomb) didn't look great in his 1st start last week but i think that he will improve alot for this weeks game. Green Bay has no running game right now and Minnesota will have no problem stopping that while focusing on defending the pass. I think Minnesota's defense will be up to the task this week and in a Double revenge spot from last year, i think they will be primed to give GB their 1st loss. Packers are (1-4) ATS in their last 5 against Minny and the Dog is (17-4) in the last 21 in this series. Minnesota 27 Green Bay 20
Philadelphia -2.5 (-120)
I think McNabb is really getting back in to the swing of things and as long as he is healthy, they can go a long way. He has proven in the past that a full season of health usually means a deep playoff run. Who knows if he can stay on the field all year but as of right now he is there. He seems like he is getting his legs going a little better and Detroit definately helped him with his timing last weekend. I know Westbrook is not healthy but i don't think it will be a problem if Donovan has to go to the air all day long. I look for his secondary receivers to have a big day against this defense as all eyes will be on Kevin Curtis after his performance last week. I don't know what is going on with the Giants running game right now and Burress is very beat up for this game as well. The win by the Giants last week over Washington didn't change my opinion on them that much. I still think Philly has the better offense, defense and special teams in this game. Philadelphia 31 NYG 16
"7 PT." Teaser = Indy (-2.5) - Dallas (-6) ---> -130
I really think Indy does what they always do with Denver and dominate them. Dallas is feeling good right now and without Jackson to keep Dallas honest in the running game, it could be a long day for the Rams. I teased them to hopefully avoid the backdoor cover on those bigger numbers (-9.5 & -13). Indy 31 Denver 16 & Dallas 34 St Louis 24
"7 PT." Teaser = Indy (-2.5) - San Diego (-4.5) ---> -130
Read above for Indy. San Diego puts it all together this week and Kansas City is going to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. I expect LT to have a big game and i expect the same out of the SD Defense too. It doesn't help Kansas City very much with LJ hurting big time either. It just adds to their misery. I'm teasing the Chargers down under a TD because they have shown me no reason to lay DD after the 1st 3 games. San Diego 27 Kansas City 10
"7 PT." Teaser = Tampa Bay (+10) - San Francisco (+9.5) ---> -130
Carolina was having issues with Jake at QB and now by throwing the "Deer in headlights" back there (David Carr), i don't expect anything to improve. Garcia has done for the Bucs what i said he would before the season started. He has brought energy and leadership and this Bucs team is feeling good again. I think they Win SU but i feel even better about getting +10. The Dog in the Car/TB series is also (7-1) last 8. S.F. added players to their defense and stole a WR from a division rival (Seattle). The only thing this team lacks is maturity right now. This is a statement game for the 'Niners and this is a game i think they win behind Frank Gore and a defense that needs to step up and earn their pay this week. Tampa Bay 20 Carolina 13 & S.F. 30 Seattle 24
"7 PT." Teaser = Houston (+4.5) - Minnesota (+9) ---> -130
Read above for both.
"7 PT." Teaser = Baltimore (+3) - Detroit (+10) ---> -130
I like Baltimore because of Defense, McGahee and hopefully a healthy McNair. This isn't Cincy's defense and another upset will be hard to repeat for the Browns. I think the combination of potentially 6 starters being out on defense along with Detroit's passing game, that the Lions can keep it close. Baltimore 24 Cleveland 10 & Detroit 24 Chicago 23
"7 PT." Teaser = NYJ (+3.5) - San Diego (-4.5) ---> -130
Read above for San Diego. Injuries are killing the Bills. If the Jets play solid on both sides of the ball, i find it hard to believe that Thomas Jones won't have a big day and Trent Edwards won't struggle. At best Buffalo gets a late FG to pull off the upset and if that happens, i'm still covered on my teaser. NYJ 26 Buffalo 13
GOOD LUCK
