The whole NL central has a losing record outside of its division. I say don't let any of them and let somebody like the Rockies or Phillies that are playing their asses off right now.

I agree. The Cubs and Brewers are both a joke right now to be honest and neither of them deserve it at this point.

With the Braves gone I have to root for my hometown Padres. If they find a way to get in, Chris Young will determine how far they get. He needs to find his pre-injury form this weekend.

Padres will get it done. I hope they meet up with your cubbies, cause we are going to kick your ass!

                      Keep the faith.

It's not like we're the first team ever to struggle down the stretch and still make the post season. Detroit did the same last year, the White Sox the year before.

                        It is what it is.

I poersonally don't give two shits HOW we get in....I just want to get there....cause everyone knows it's all up for grabs then.

I'm not saying they should deny the invitation. I'm just saying that it is pathetic how these teams are playing when they KNOW so much is on the line. Add the Mets in to this as well .........

understood...and that may very well be why some of these teams are struggling...they are playing teams with nothing to lose and are all loose, and you've got teams like the brewers, cubs, mets etc...who are pressing big time to get in.

No excuses....Cubs should have already clinched. Hopefully today they can make it happen.
