If Prince Fielder played in Colorado, he'd have 65 home runs and 150 RBIs. He's the youngest player in the history of the game to hit 50 home runs. what more does he have to do?

thanks for the props bro. Braun will win NL ROY in a landslide. if he played all year he would be NL MVP. is BA us like 50pts higher than fielder.

Holiday is obvious. His road stats away from Colorado are horrible.

And it cost Todd Helton in the past (Road/Home splits).

Take those 2 guys off their teams, and they're both cellar dwellers imo. Phillies still have Utley, Howard, Rowand, etc.

Not true. Fielder has guys like Braun who have lit it up and Holiday has Atkins and Helton doing the same.

I guarantee you Fielder and Holiday would give up Braun, Atkins, and Helton, respectively, and take Utley, Howard, and Rowand in a heartbeat

Maybe but you can't ignore what someone like Rollins has done. It isn't Howard stealing those bases and doing what he does.

I agree he's had a nice year, but the long time argument over whether this is a best player award or MVP award. The MVP is definitely Fielder or Holiday imo. Rollis would be at or near the top of my list for best player award.

                          kb,

Team batting average in the N.L. has Colorado 1ST & Philly 5TH

On Base % has Philly 1ST as a team and Colorado 2ND

Runs scored has Phil 1ST & Colorado 2ND

                          Hits has Colorado 1ST & Philly 3RD

                          Slugging % has Philly 1ST & Colorado 6TH

Why do you think Philly's offense is so much better than Colorado's??? It just isn't the case.

Jimmy Rollins has carried the Phils through extended injuries to Chase and Ryan as well as one of the worst pitching staffs in the NL (Mesa, Gordon, Alfonseca) great bullpen 10 years ago. 200 hits, 30 HR's, 19 Triples. Maybe greatest Offensive performance ever by a shortstop.

A-Rod had one hell of a good year when he won the MVP in Texas (Playing SS)
