Many reasons here. I know Grossman is out at QB, and that is a good thing for the Bears, and I imagine it will get people on the Bears, so maybe this will even go to 3.5 by Sunday, but I want to take it at 3 before the official injury report. The Bears defense is really banged up. Both starting DB's (Vasher and Tillman) are out. DT Tommy Harris is out, along with opening day starter Dusty Divorchek (spelling?). Lance Briggs is doubtful, and Adam Archuletta is questionable, along with Mike Brown being out (since week 1). That is 6-7 of the opening day 11 OUT! against a good offense, and a team that has been dying to stick it to the Bears for about 3 years now. I like the Bears better with Griese, but their O line is still pretty bad right now, and banged up....not to mention old. I'm not sure how the Bears inexperienced DB's will cover the talented Det WR's. Hopefully Griese won't inspire this team too much. I'll take the points here!
