Ok well it is early in the year but there is one game I am liking more and more and more this week.

New York Jets -2.5 -120 Bought half a point using my local for this one.
For starters , Buffalo has to be the worst team in the NFL right now. They have 3 defensive starters and 6 players overall out for the season already. JP Losman was not the best quarterback, but even he is gone for a couple of weeks. Now they start a third round rookie quarterback in a divisonal game. Aside from those out for the year, a number of other injuries are sitting with the Bills. Linebacker Keith Ellison, his replacement Cory Wire, cornerback Terrence McGee. McGee being the most significant loss as he is the starting left cornerback and kick returner. The other two are backup middle linebackers and now with Posluzny out, leaves the Bills very short in the linebacker department.
Buffalo's defense has been giving up 458 yards per game. They just can not seem to stop anybody right now and with all the injuries, who can blame them?
The Jets offense is much better with Pennington back in the lineup. They have only 2 turnovers in three games so far. By rights, they should have at least tied Baltimore in week 2 and outplayed Miami in week 3. Passing wise, Buffalo gives up 280+ yards per game. With all those defensive players out, Pennington will have a field day against this defense. Tom Brady threw for four touchdowns last week and even Big Ben threw for 242 and completed 62% of his passes. Not saying the Jets offense is like that of the Pats, but Pennington is efficient and Laverneus Coles always seems to do something special each week. As a topper, the Bills have only forced two interceptions and have only 3 sacks total in 3 games. Pennington should have a lot of time to read the field and throw.
Teams are completing a whopping 48.7% of their third downs vs the Bills. The Jets were 8 of 13 last week and should have no problems this week. Allowing 177 yards per game on the ground will allow Thomas Jones to have his biggest day in a Jets uniform this season.
It looks like a total mis-match on paper and should translate that way onto the field. It does not even sound like the Bills are confident they will win a game.
"It's crazy," punter Brian Moorman said. "It just completely floors me that we go into every game and lose somebody for a number of weeks like this. I don't know what to think. We definitely need things to change in our favor."
"Defensively, we struggle. And part of our struggle is we have no continuity," Jauron said. The sad truth is they have no continuity and do not have much time to gel for this weeks game.
