  • Milton Bradley...

Its always someone else's fault you loser. When will people start to take responsibility for their own actions. He actually blamed the ump for his ACL tear. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME! You want to know what is wrong with this country, its that we have trash like this living here. And he makes more money than I will ever see!

I will say this....I am FAR from a Milton Bradley apologist....but there are numerous reports that the 1st base umpire might have said some magic words to Bradley to get him riled up.

As far as his injury....it was such a freak thing....I still shake my head watching it.

Umm....my point is that he is blaming the ump for his ACL injury. Not blaming himself, for acting like an idiot jumping around like a dumb ass!

regardless what the UMP said to him, or what provoked his temporary mental loss, to go beserk, he brought it upon himself.....

If you were sitting in the stands, and the UMP made a bad third strike call on the Cubs Lee, and you got irate, flailed around, and hurt your leg, would/could you blame the ump for your injury.....NOT....

He and Zambrano and Ozzie Guillen are head cases....as they keep showingg us.....IMO

MLB seriously needs to do something about the umps. The umps think they are bigger than the game. In no other sport do the officials show up the players like it's done in baseball.

              Understood....and I agree.

I just wanted to add that when you watch it....you can obviously see something that the umpire says to set him off.

And i agree with Frank....something needs to be done about the attitudes some of these umps have.

Like i said...no excuse for what he did.

not a milton bradley fan but i think he has a case here......bobby meacham said he has never heard such a conversation in his 22 yrs in baseball and Todd Hilton said it was very interesting.....I think this umpire like many now think they are the show.....If you saw the replay of him striking out, what he did afterwards was nothing and it ended the inning....for the 1st base ump to make those accusations is bizarre......Watch the body language....to me the ump is the aggressor and if you listen to the interview i believe bradley....He admits he is controversial and has done stupid shit.....

Well said...that's what i was trying to get at before.

He's a hot head...but in this case it sounds like it wasn't all him.

                    Too bad for padres fans.....

I still think he makes great board games for the entire family.
You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.

                        Milton needs some anger management.

Radio here said it was Ump's fault. He called Milton a "Bitch"

Something like - "Quite crying like a bitch"

The umpire /manager or player arguements are all part of the entertainment value of baseball. Fans get all riled up when they see an agruement on the field. If you don't think so, you have not seen a baseball game in person. I equate it to hockey fights, fans love to see fights. This aspect of the game will remain intact. It is right? Probably not, but it remains part of the fabric of the game and won't be changed.

Athetes these days have so little patience.

Ump/Ref get all rile up for very small things.

All trying to get more attentions to them.

you can imagine the firestorm this has created here in san diego - the padres were really counting on his bat heading into the playoffs and now it seems like they are circling the drain....chris young has not recovered from his injury and the team is barely hanging on and then this fucktard goes and does a selfish thing like this....even if the ump called his mom a slut - he should be man enough to put the team first for once in his pathetic life
