Please Explain why Washington is only a 3 pt favorite

I know there are a lot of great cappers on this site, and i just wanted to know what others thought about this game, this one just seems weird. I know the reverse logic, "when it seems too easy, bet opposite"...But i've noticed a lot of cappers are picking washington...

Just curious what others thought of this game...

10 years ago i would think washington an easy win, but now i like NY giants, but no one is picking them...

IMO Vegas doesn't think the Skins are as good as they appear nor the Giants as bad as they've played. It's a divisional game.

If one uses Sagarin USA Today rankings the Skins should be 9 point favorites

It's the NFL. Why is a (2-0) Detroit team getting 6 from a (0-2) team? The lines are built on public perception, not newspapers & stats.

Or last week. That is a popular one too. Most people look at the previous week as a forecast for the next game and you just can't do that (IMO).

Cuz Vegas holds black QB's to a higher standard when it comes to lines!!

A white QB would only have to win by 2.5!!
