My numbers are set as :

1234 these are in my opinion the 4 dogs to box , however the -5 dog should be payed close attention to [ tote-board] and if you see Joe Public not giving the dog proper respect and his odds are on the high side it sometimes would not hurt to lay a little wood on him also.

Many times I see a tote reflecting my selections as the favorites [on the heavy side] and my reasoning is why lay a bet that will return a 45.00 tri , when you can either skip it , or lay that dog down as a :

key/ 1234/1234 } this is a 12.00 dollar wager and is half of what I would have bet anyway plus if it hits more than likely the return would be closer to 200.00 to 300.00 instead a meager 45.00 , and there are times that a } 1234/key/1234 which is the same amount will apply to my wagering , and even more sometimes I do both !

All in all I cannot stress how important the tote board is to my wagering style .... its my guiding light !

Hope this answers you [ somewhat ] and Welcome once again !

            Mmm,

I have observed that more often than not your 5th choice comes into the mix. So in the case where you box 4, then include the 5th, how much are you spending to get the 5th in there?

I know it is 48 bucks to 2.00 box the 4, but what do you like to do with the 5th, box it or bet it straight to place or show, or do you box it?

I expect to box the 5th you are now at 60 bucks. Given that, you are spending 840 for 14 races, is that accurate?

Looks like it is worth it since you have made twice that in only 8 races today..

            :D

Hey Memphis, do you place your dog bets online? If so, what's the Web address I would like to look into it if you don't mind. Thank you.

There are so many that you would need a calculator to keep up with them ,,, but I use about 4 of them .

The best one [ by far ] is run by the state of Oregon and " you will never have a problem with them " they offer so many bennies that others wont come close to. U.S. Offtrack .com is my advise to you and I think you will find that they will serve most if not all your needs !

And I do feel like I went to far with him , but he came in here on his second day and all but called my methods a crack-pot deal and I have been working on them for longer than he has been alive [ most likely ] And they do work with very fair consistency and we all know thats what it takes to make a buck in this biz !

Hope your pick makes it tonight there big guy and its good to see you hanging your butt out on a limb like most of us .

                    It serves you well !
