The Eagles are in a pretty good situation here, as they get to play on Monday night on the opening weekend of the season against the defending Super Bowl champs that knocked them out of last year’s playoffs in the NFL Championship game. This scenario provides plenty of emotional ammunition for a great effort by the Eagles and they do qualify in a couple of good week 1 angles. Teams that won 9 games or more the previous season are 36-16-3 ATS in week 1 home games when not favored by more than 5 points and Tampa Bay would qualify in a negative 11-31-1 ATS week 1 situation if they are not getting 3 points or more. The problem, as in the Oakland at Tennessee game last night, is that the line value is on the other side. In this case, the Bucs should be no worse than pick as far as my ratings are concerned. Tampa Bay should be just about as good as they were last season, which is to say that they’ll be average on offense and dominating defensively. Philadelphia’s offense is capable of moving the football against any team when McNabb is on his game, but he is just an average passer at best (5.6 yards per pass play the last two years – the league average is 5.9 yppp) and may not be as eager to run this season after last year’s broken ankle, which kept him out of 6 games. It’s McNabb’s running ability that makes him special and the Eagles averaged a better than average 5.4 yards per play with him in the lineup (against teams that allowed just 5.0 yppl). Philadelphia’s defense is the concern here, as the Eagles lost 4 starters from that unit in the off-season, including All-Pro Hugh Douglas and starting linebackers Shawn Barber and Levon Kirkland. The Eagles allowed 4.7 yppl last season, against teams that averaged 5.0 yppl on offense, but they figure to be closer to average defensively this season. The Eagles will still be strong against the pass with Vincent, Taylor and Dawkins manning the secondary and they can certainly limit Brad Johnson’s effectiveness in this game. The Buccaneers don’t really have a rushing attack that is capable of taking advantage of Philadelphia’s sub-par run defense that allowed 4.1 ypr to teams that averaged 4.0 ypr and should be worse this season with the loss of key personnel. I’m not thrilled with the pointspread in this game, but the Eagles beat the Bucs 20-10 on this field last season and are certainly in a good situation to win again. However, the 3 point spread is surprising to me and I’m not willing to give up the line value to make the Eagles a play.

Guys I really don't have an opinion on tonight's total but I wanted to pass along this remarkable system. Since 1993, the 'OVER' is 7-0 in the first Monday Night game when the home team is favored. Not only have those seven games exceeded Vegas expectations they have shattered the total. Those seven games have gone 'OVER' by an average of 13.7 points a game.

For what its worth, how can anyone trust a service like NSA which has locks of the year 365 days a year, talks nonsense every day about knowledge of big gamblers betting 400k on everyday baseball games, has 50-0 system plays just about every day and talks about knowledge of inside information from trainer's room about alleged injuries to pitchers who are going that day.
This is a true story: a friend of mine earlier this year stated that a pitcher who was going against I believe it was the Dodgers that night had a sore arm but was pitching anyways and to bet LA.
To make a long story short, that pitcher was so "injured" that he went out and not only defeated LA but shut them out.
