I am far from an Eli fan but he made two bad passes today- the INT and overthrowing Toomer in the end zone. IMO, he actually played well considering he wasn't supposed to play. Shockey didn't help him out with at leat 2 drops, one that could have been a TD.
Shockey really disappoints me. For all his talking, he doesn't back it up and is always banged up. Watch, this week it is going to be his back and he will be questionable for next week.

Who would you rather have. Eli Manning or Phillip Rivers?

Right now, obviously Rivers. Too bad that wasn't your original post. Like I said, I am not an an Eli fan and I hated the trade when it happened. But he has played well in two games this year. The defense is horrible, Shockey has been horrible but not Eli.
Instead of asking Rivers or Manning, a better question would be is 44 for 60 for 523 yds 5 TD's and 2 Int's horrible? I woud say no.
