Many things on this team like players and more importantly their wives are some of the biggest supporters of the JD Drew family and what they have gone through with their infant. Many, many hours have been spent at the hospital by players and wives and JD Drew said that, so i feel like i do know (Unless he is lying). Most athletes are selfish, i agree. This team though has many, many off field incidents of solidarity off the field though and they have ever since '04.

There are reasons why guys like Damon, Millar and Mirabelli miss Boston so much after their gone and i believe it goes beyond the field of play with this team. I can't speak of other teams because i don't see them daily.
i feel for JD Drews kid and the support the team has given him, but this is a business too....I agree with the Jimmy Fund and many other things that this team is probably a little different than most. I thought the Drew kid is in Arizona or where he is from? If the wives flew out to see the kid that is huge.....I knew he had to fly to where the kid was when he broke his colarbone and they found out he had a hip problem and the little guy is in a bodycast.....I agree that this has to take its toll on him.....

I also do not feel it is all cases.....There are no absolutes....There are players who are good guys and some that are dicks....just like in life....Some clubhouses are loose and some are not.....

You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.

If the Yankees don't win it all, is it possible?

            I would guess 2000.

A long time to be overpaying

disgusting win last night to say the least.......Paps is the closer on my fantasy team so that blown save loss might cost me my semifinal game and to make matters worse the Tigers couldve pulled to within 2.5.....Cleveland and the Yankees just dont seem to wanna lose

                PEACE
