  • Need Help with Offshore Book

For the last seven seasons I have done action offshore. I can still use OLYMPIC, but what about Net Teller? Or would I be better off using Western Union? Need input on books and transfers...not sure who/what to trust...

    thanx,

    dave

word on the street is that MONEYGRAM is an excellent option to go with these days to transfer money to a sportsbook. Try betjamaica, 5dimes, skybook, etc.

      Thank you for your input.

Moneygram is via Western Union, correct?

Does moneygram give "cash" when I "recieve" it? Or will it be a check of some sort that my bank will need to cash?

      Thank you.

Just gearing up for NFL and want to be able to make a play when the "big one" comes along!

I use Bookmaker. Funded it with my Check Card (Visa) Wells Fargo. Never had any problems other than when I originally funded it. Quite a few hoops to jump through the first time...There is a thread about it somewhere here.
        It's always noon somewhere!

            found it Dave

[QUOTECall bet Jamaica or whatever offshore you chose to use and tell them you wish to make a deposit via money gram.
            1) they will give you a recieve code( normally a 4 digit #)
            2) they will also tell you who to make it payable to( this could be anything, pinnacle was solid pay)
            3) they will tell you what city or state to send it to( you need this cause its on the money gram)
            4) Go to walmart, go to the customer service counter and tell them you want a money gram, they will ask personal or business and you tell them business. The money gram will be blue.
            5) on the money gram it shows were to put steps 1-3
            6) it will ask your name, phone # and address. i dont like my wife knowing im doing this so i list my business address. if you win money and want to make a withdrawal they will mail you a check to the address on the money gram, keep that in mind.
            7) and last step, the money gram cost 9.50 and usually if its a good sports book they will refund you that cost. once you have paid they will give you a carbon copy of your moneygram and on it( right hand side) will be a refrence #, remember that. Call your sports book and give them that refrence # and with in 30 minutes your account will have funds in it and ready for gambling.

This may sound like alot, but really once you do it a couple of times you will roll thru it with no effort.

You will need a drivers license to do this, or a form of ID][/QUOTE]

Good luck, this is MY preferred method for offshore funding and withdrawing

              Thanks everyone for your help.

I assume my bank will not have a problem depositing a Moneygram check into my account.

I've been with OLYMPIC for 7 years so I'll probably stay put unless anyone has had recent problems there?

I know I sound paranoid, but with the whole neteller thing and offshore book changes and recent U.S. legislation, I'm just looking for some input.

Thanx again, and if anyone has any other suggestions (should I leave Olympic???; will I have problems depositing moneygram???), please let me know.

In the event you want to make a withdrawal the sports book mails you a check. Trust me the check wont say the sportsbook name on it and more than likley it might be drawn on a US bank. Dont worry about that

Olympic sister book is BetJamaica meaning that they own BetJamaica. Theres no problems with either book.

dave sorry havent been on the forum since I posted in your thread.

moneygram is an offshoot of WU, only its still flying under the radar (relative to WU). You get paid in cash (I am pretty sure), it's all cash, to and from.

Fed Ex would be cheaper right? But not sure if the check will have Book's name on it...bank might not cash it.

Most offshore's offer free withdrawls once a month. Most will send a bank check through Federal Express and you can deposit the check in your checking account. I did this 2 times earlier this year when Neteller stopped operation. Pinnacle to get my remaining money when they stopped and Olympic just because. Worked great.

PS the MoneyGram thing through Wall-Mart works great

the checks usually dont have the books name on it, books go through a processor and the checks have a bank name on them.
