I always read the plays you guys make on this site and because I am feeling good after a great weekend (mainly Georgia and Jimmie Johnson) and thought I would throw my picks into the ring for tonight.
Texas Tech @ SMU
Alot of players out there are on the over due to Mike Leaches offense, but the play I would take on the totals is under. SMU has one of the top passing defenses in the C-USA and in last years game these two teams only put up 38 points. The total play is under. I did not make that play but for some it is needed, I did however make a pick on TTech -9.5. Graham Harrell is the first VHT to play qb for leach and he is also the first qb to return as a starter for leach. I look for him to have a big game. Texas Tech wins this one by 3 TDs.
Florida State @ Clemson
Drew Weatherford will have a tough time as always on the road and in Jimbo Fisher's first game Florida State puts up 24-30, leaning mostly on the running game and big play defense. Clemson however will not fair so well. Myron Rolle will blow up on this national stage. Rolle, Fluellen and all the other stars on this defense will hold clemson to minimal success despite having the second best RB tandem in the nation. With a new quaterback and the loss of big play Chansi Stuckey this game will go under the number by a score or two. Clemson loses in a dogfight with Myron Rolle and the FSU defense being the difference.
