Texas Tech returns their QB but the WR's and O-Line are all new except for 1 O-lineman. SMU plays Tech pretty well at home and they return alot of guys on defense including 3 guys in the secondary to face Harrell. SMU returns the Freshman of the Year last year at QB Justin Willis and he had a 26-6 TD/Int ratio. They also return a solid RB core with Doak Walker Award candidate DeMyron Martin leading the way and their top receiver is back as well. SMU is (6-1) Ats in their last 7 @ Home, the Home team is (4-0) Ats in the last 4 meetings and Texas Tech is (0-7) in their last 7 games on the road when favored by -4 to -10 points. My thoughts here are that SMU can score quite a few points of their own and hang with Tech until the end while possibly pulling out the win!
