    BC at PENN ST. (9 ½): Penn State has won 26 of its last 31 SU against
    the Big-East, though they have failed to cash in five of the last seven. BC
    has cashed seven of its last 10 against Penn State

    SAN DIEGO at OHIO STATE (-35 ½): The Aztecs have stumbled in eight
    of their last 10 road openers ATS, losing 10 in a row SU. The Buckeyes
    are 23-10 ATS in September while San Diego State has bombed in 13 of 18
    this month against non-conference competition.

    AKRON at WISCONSIN (-26 ½): The Zips are 0-5 SU and 1-4 ATS in
    their last five challenges versus the Big 10, and they were outscored by
    an average of 45-16. The Badgers have clicked in 12 of their last 16 ATS
    at home coming off a road success.


    BUFFALO at IOWA (-37 ½): T Iowa is perfect at 9-0 in the role of
    double-digit favorites under coach Kirk Ferentz. Buffalo has faltered
    in six of its last eight ATS after losing to Rutgers, 24-10, as 12-point dogs.

    NC ST. (-9) at WAKE FOREST: The home team has cashed six of the
    last seven in this ACC rivalry. North Carolina State has 'covered' 10 of
    its last 15 versus Wake Forest, coming up short in four of the last six
    series tussles. T

    OLE MISS (-8) at MEMPHIS: Ole Miss has cashed 11 of its last 16 versus
    Memphis. They have slipped in eight of their last dozen as non-conference
    favorites. The Tigers have lost 17 of their last 18 against the SEC, though
    they have cashed 11 times.

    BGSU at PURDUE (-10 ½): Purdue has 'covered' seven of its last 11 at
    home in September.The Falcons have soared in five of their last six in
    September and five
    \of six in non-conference play ATS.

    AIR FORCE (-7) at NORTHWESTERN: Northwestern has cashed 16
    of its last 24 as a home dog. The Falcons have won and 'covered' eight
    of their last nine road openers.

    SYRACUSE (-1) at NORTH CAROLINA: The Orangemen are 8-4 ATS in
    their last dozen road openers and they have clicked in five of six as road
    favorites of three points or less. North Carolina has been a money-burner
    in Chapel Hill, slipping in 11 of 13 ATS,
    including 14 of 18 outside the ACC. =

    OHIO at IOWA ST. (-17 ½): Ohio is 7-2 in its last nine road openers ATS.
    The Bobcats have been tamed in four straight versus the Big 12 SU and
    in five of six ATS.

    WASHINGTON ST. at NOTRE DAME (-4 ½): They have won and cashed
    six of their last nine on the road in September and 10 of 12 SU and ATS on
    grass. Notre Dame has won six of its last seven home openers SU, getting
    the green in five of the seven.

    RUTGERS at MICHIGAN ST. (-20): Michigan State has flopped in 10 of its
    last 12 as home chalk and five of as double-digit favorites. Rutgers has 'covered'
    seven of its last nine as non-conference road dogs and eight of 12 on the
    highway versus the Big 10.

    VIRGINIA (-4 ½) at SO. CAROLINA: The Cavaliers have cashed 11 of
    their last 16 road openers and 13 of 17 on the highway the first month of the
    season. The Gamecocks have slipped in 21 of 31 ATS versus ACC competition.
    South Carolina has cashed seven of nine as home favorites off a SU victory.

    AUBURN (-8 ½) at GEORGIA TECH: Auburn has 'covered' seven of its last
    10 as a road favorite since '96. The Yellow Jackets have collected in eight of
    their last 11 as home underdogs and six of seven when getting 3 ½ to 10 points.

    UCLA at COLORADO (-1 ½): . The Bruins have 'covered' five of their last
    seven against the Big-12 and 24 of 33 non-conference tests, overall. The
    Buffs have faltered in 10 of their last 15 versus the Pac-10 and six of seven
    ATS in home openers.

    NEVADA at OREGON (-21 ½): Oregon has won nine straight versus the
    WAC, thought they have come up short in six of the nine ATS. Nevada
    has dropped eight in a row against Pac-10 competition, faltering in four
    of six ATS.

    INDIANA at WASHINGTON (-23): Washington has prevailed in 13 of
    its last 16 SU against the Big-10 and it has won 16 of 17 home openers
    SU, cashing in seven of its last 10. The Hoosiers, have dropped 13 of
    their last 19 as road dogs.

    MARSHALL at TENNESSEE (-19): The Thundering Herd have also been
    silenced in seven of 10 on grass and six of their last seven as road dogs.
    Tennessee is 30-17 ATS outside the SEC and it has collected in 15 of 20
    when playing back-to-back games in Knoxville.

    COLORADO ST. at CALIFORNIA (-1): Golden Bears haven't had
    much success as favorites, however, failing in 28 of 42 since '92. Colorado
    State has lost 10 of its last 12 SU versus the Pac-10, failing to get the
    cash at a 2-7-1 clip. T
