Feels great to be posting college football!
I'm going to rate everything this year between 1 and 3*'s.
Tulsa -3 *** (3 stars)
LSU -18 ** (2 stars)
Tulsa- I expect them to be one of the top teams in C-USA again this year. Love their QB and a decent running game to go with it. People are making alot of them losing their HC, but this could work in their favor with trying to make somewhat of a statement in week 1.
I've seen a lot of love for La- Monroe, especially with their offense intact from last year, but the Sun Belt is the Sun Belt, and they aren't even close to the best team from their conference (Troy). I think Tulsa is the MUCH better team and gets it done.
LSU- I'm not falling for the old 'square play', 'public play', or 'too many on one side play' and going against the obvious choice. The talent gap in this game is immense. Plain and simple, THIS GAME IS A MIS-MATCH ON EVERY LEVEL. I wouldn't be suprised if Miss St didn't score. The only thing that worries me is a backdoor (27-3, with State putting up a garbage TD late to cover).
