I heard a crazy stat on the radio yesterday that said no team has ever won a division title in baseball history without having at least one 5 game winning streak during the season.

The Mets have yet to have a 5 game winning streak this season and their current streak is 4 losses.

Do they make History? Get a 5 game streak in September and win the division?? Or fall prey to this stat, not get that streak, and eventually lose the division???

Until their win last night which extended their win streak to 5 games they had a longer losing streak than win streak.
