I have written that I play these at 5 Dimes for variable lines. I do not post a record so I am not trying to give bogus lines. These are what I can play with my book- it is the biggest improvement I have made this year.

This is what I have mentioned- if you do not have variable lines- then you are at the mercy of your bookie or tout. The game with SF was 8 everywhere else but for a few more dollars and 5 Dimes variable lines-
I comfortabley sat on a winner at 7. (Game is 8-0 in the bottom of the 9th)

you're 100 % right about multiple places to get and play different lines.....I generally use 3 offshore, and 1 local.....and a couple years back in a NCAA FB game, the Favorite was -4 to -7 1/2.....I played both side to middle the bad boy, and lo and behold the Favorite won by 7....double hit.......

It pays have the ability to shop around, and not put all your eggs in one basket, and be at the Mercy of your Bookie....

For example, my Bookie knows I don't play unders, so when I call for totals, she (husband died and wife took over), automaticly adds a 1/2 to the Over......I get my buddy Joe to call it in for us, as he sometimes plays unders.....

These Books don't miss a trick....It's how they make their money.....Local books also move lines to adjust wagers to get as close to a 50-50 wage set as possible, and thrive on the VIG......kapt

I convinced my local a few years back that he Either give us Pinnacle lines, and we'll keep it local, or we'll go on internet and place em there, and spread the word about the good lines....He gave it to us....He died (see statement above, and his brother and wife), now handle it.....They know Pinnacle is off limits to us, so they went back to their tight ass ways.....

Forced me to shop around a lil more...was better off for it....kapt
