BigJim's Week 0 Football Picks

Next Week is NFL Week 1 so we'll call this one Week 0.

In the past I have subscribed to 10+ "sheets" and read countless predictions/forecasts from various sources, all before even considering which way to lean but I'm going to try and do something a little different this season.

I'm going to make my plays as early as possible in the week and let the chips fall where they may. I'm not saying that I won't add plays the day of the game based on line movement and late information, but I'm going to try and get my personal leans down before being influenced one way or another.

Enough talk... let's get to the early plays for this week.

New coach, new off coordinator, new def coordinator. Not sure what to expect out of Tulsa early this year.

Be wary of that line...someone needs to research this but if memory serves me right, this line started around -6...trap?

New coach, new off coordinator, new def coordinator. Not sure what to expect out of Tulsa early this year.

Yes but the new HC is Todd Graham who lead Rice to their best season in 60 years last year.

Rice started slow last year but it was against a superior level of competition, especially compared to ULMonroe.

I think Tulsa has more talent left over from the Kragthorpe era then Graham inherited when he arrived at Rice and should win this game fairly easily.

At least I hope they do.

Thinking about bumping up the Missou play to 3* if I can get it at -4 and 4* if I can get it at -3 again.
