Are you creating an argument? As a Yankee fan, I am sure you are aware that Torre was told not to pitch Jaba two days in a row. So unless he defies the edict that his Boss has given him, which is possible, he ain't pitching.

If they get swept, they are still in the drivers seat. Of course they don't want to lose and they are playing to win. But if this was a BIG series for them, you can bet your bottom dollar that Manny would be playing tonight....

Tmac does have a point.. I was talking to Dimer today on the phone..he said if yanks win 2 out of 3..not much difference but if yanks sweep he will be pissed off like no tomorrow. I'm not saying the yanks will catch the redsox but the sox have a chance to step on the throats of the yankees to not make the playoffs... After the beat down we got from detroit it was perfect time to slap us into next year.....but winning these games will help us get a wild card spot. Believe me, i think boston really wants to win... It means alot to them!

Ummmmm whats that?? Does it say that you have to win the divison just to make the wild card?? Isnt it all that matters is just to get in the playoffs?? Dimer is about the only red sox fan that will realize that.. this game and this series is huge for the both of them.. for boston it would mean one step closer to keeping the yanks out of the playoffs and for the yanks one step closer to hopefully getting into the playoffs..
