Today is a tripod of wealth to behold. Atlanta throwing Smoltz tonight against Vandenhurk - who pitched well against Atlanta last time but the Braves are on a mission this series to close the ranks and put pressure on the Mets who expect Martinez back soon.
Glavine going up against Eaton who came off the DL and pitched poorly before going on. Any wonder what the books are thinking with an 11 as the total in this game- its not Glavine - even if he did give up 6 runs last game. No its Mr. Eaton that has them shook up! Look for the RL on this one.
The trends and the pitchers and most stats support a solid under on this one. These 2 teams typically play to an over the majority of the time when they knock heads- but not tonight.
Note: Do not consider the Under in Oakland tonight- Gaudin is a loose cannon and has 6 out of the last 9 games pitched with 5 runs or more. Litsch has 9 ER's in the last 4 games pitched but add 7 unearned runs to that scene for 16 total runs in 4 games. Sounds like an over but you will see most on the under.
