Chicago White Sox Announcer

I have the MLB package that allows you to watch all the out of market games on the computer. I am watching this White Sox game and the announcer is the most annoying person outside of the Yankees radio announcers ever. With every strikeout by Contreras he feels the need to say "Be Gone". The way he says is just makes that little catch phrase of his so annoying to hear and it really is pissing me off. I am about to turn off the volume and just occassionally watch a batter or two because this guy is just very annoying.

Anyone else watching this game on MLB tv?

He is the worst fucking announcer ever. I don't even dare to attempt to watch White Sux games on WGN. Impossible to make it through an inning much less a full game.

I agree....right when I read this post I could actually here his stupid...."he gone" thing and im not even watching the game....it is so annoying.....he says "he gone" for strikeouts AND homeruns too....

it's actually "he gone" ....but your 100% correct. he's the worst announcer in the game.

i know i'm a cub fan...but it wouldn't matter....he's the most biased annoying announcer i've ever heard.

LoL that would be good for a laugh.

Honestly I do not get where they get these guys and how they keep their jobs because if an owner actually listened to them I think they would fire them before a game was over. I would love to apply for one of these positions because I would actually sound excited to be at every single game. Sucks that these guys with no emotions are sitting here making games unbearable.

I've never liked The Hawk! I don't understand why some people like the guy. He is brutal. The sad thing is, their radio guys aren't any better.

I guess being a Cubs fan, I was spoiled all those years growing up with Steve Stone, who in my opinion is one of the best.

No, he's silent as a church mouse...but it's never the Sux fault...it's always bad calls by the umpire, or luck on the other team.

Also hate when he says "chopper two hopper" on ground balls. I understand thet every announcer has their sayings, or calling cards, but to use it every single time, and to have a saying for mutiple things (k's, ground balls, hr's) is just too much!
