Yanks/Red Sox Series Poll

Now that we got that out of the way, on to my question.

The Yankees play the Red Sox in a 3 game series this week starting Tuesday in New York.

Here are the pitching matchups ...

Dice-K vs Pettitte
Beckett vs Clemens
Schilling vs Wang

It looks like some great matchups there.

My question is who do you honestly think wins the Series?

Awesome pitching match ups---Like Boston 2 out of 3..
Bosox coming off a 4-0 sweep---and a day of rest...Yanks still have one game remaining against Verlander and the Tigers...then travel---They had the late game Friday with the Tigers and if they win this series I will be shocked...but then again it is the YANKS-SOX matchup!!!

The Red Sox just outscored the White Sox 46-7 in their 4-0 sweep. That was the 1st time since 1950 that Boston scored 10+ runs in 4 straight games!

The only game I think the Spanks have a chance is game 3. Can't wait for Dice K to make the Spanks look foolish and then maybe TMac will realize he is worth the dough

Yes sir they aren't playing around...Just demolished the White Sox--the mental game comes into play with these two teams. That is why I mentioned the day off for the Sox as they have a minute to regroup and get focused.---as I say that I am liking Detroit even more tomorrow against the yanks!! With Boston having an 8 game lead, I think the NYY win 2 out of 3 in this series. I've been betting the RedSox almost every day a long with the Angels, who I think will meet in the ALCS.

But what the fuck do I know!!

Gosh...logic would say Sox 2-1 but the Yanks have proven they can hit all three and i think all of us know how deadly the yanks are with their backs against the wall.....And besides the fact series (especially between these 2) never play out according to the way we think.....Hate to say it Savage and Wayne

If Boston wins on Tuesday, the pressure is off and they have a decent chance for a sweep. I don't wager a lot on baseball, but I love Tuesday's game. Jeter is banged up, Dice-K is pitching well, and he is due for some run support. Jon P is well rested, and coach F won't waste any time bringing him in.

I know that write up sounds like a scene from Happy Days, but I am going to go with the Bosox in a sweep. This weekend took some of the pressure off of them. The pressure is now on the Yanks to sweep. Will be a great series
