NFL Preseason for Thursday

This is somewhat of a "homer" pick, but tonight I like Green Bay +1.5 for the 1st half. Jacksonville will play it's starters the normal 3 quarters for the 3rd preseason game, but Green Bay will pull it's starters earlier than that. Jacksonville O-Line is beat up and I think the D-Line for Green Bay's starters is much improved and can take care of business. Look for McCarthy to "win" the 1st half play. GL if you play along.

They hope to have him back by the season opener. I don't think he will be returning kicks anymore as he still has to prove himself a durable back. He has been prone to injuries and I don't think they can risk him as a kick returner when they are so thin at RB. BTW, keep an eye on Blackmon returning kicks. He may be the answer.

I will not bet this, but I like Jax -3 for the 2nd half. Jax starters will play into the 3rd quarter and Ingel Martin will see extensive duty in the 2nd half. He has not been impressive. This is just an FYI if you want to bet the 2nd half. It is also raining so an under bet may be a consideration. GL

PS - Makes you wonder why Oakland didnt challenge that as he clearly stepped out of bounds. Maybe they just figured they suck and who cares cause that was very strange....
