If you would put down your pinstripe goggles and be real for a second you would realize that both teams were salivating over him and PAvano....we would have gladly laid out the same cake for him after his WS performance just as the Yankees would have paid the same for Dice K.....
just the luck of the draw....I really do not think there is an exact science to spending money and there being a linear correlation for ROI.......There should be based on $$$ alone...but the human body and heart can not be quantified....

TMAC, Anyone who follows the Red Sox knows he has pitched better than his record. He easily could have another 3 or 4 wins. With the exception of the loss last week where he got hit hard by the Rays the other two losses to the Rays were when he gave up 1 and 2 earned runs respectively. Is that his fault that he lost? He would be no worst than your number 2 starter right now and could be the ace of your staff. That money spent on Mussina and Clemens has really paid off for you guys hasn't it. Last time I checked you would be out of the playoffs at this time. Just pathetic for a team with the batting order the Yankees have and especially the team payrollComment
