  • Are tobacco products banned from advertising in Nascar?

You would think one of the big tobacco companies would sponsor a car. Marlboro, Copenhagen, Skoal, Winston, etc.

I know I have seen Wolf sponsor a car in the Busch Series.

I think they are banned. Just like no tv ads.

Although Penske/Marlboro are pretty prominent in another series.

I kinda think the same way, but why would they let alcohol and not tobacco? Do you not remember the Wolf car David Green drove a year or two back in the Busch Series?

I think they consider tobacco more addicting to kids. No buddy, i don't remember that car.

Reason I ask is I'm watching the 1995 Daytona 500 on directv 632 and I see a Skoal car. I can't remember seeing a Nextel tobacco sponsored car since Winston left
