I agree.. on sportscenter earlier they were talking about how the younger players on the team is turningthis team into a fun team to watch now.. They were talking about Jeter and everyone having fun on the field and laughing in the dugout and not just showing up to play baseball and going home.. Im loving every second of it considering the start we had..

I have to say, I am impressed with the youngsters. But it makes you wonder why they are spending $200 million if they have all this young talent.

That's one thing i couldn't understand as well... Luckily...next year alot of money is coming of the books... Cashman said his goal is to still be competive and lower the payroll....

                          People coming off the books..

                          Clemens $28
                          Abreu $18
                          Meintkciosiisowitz $3
                          Arod $16

                          Pettite - possibly

Over $50 mill will be coming off the books in 2008... Giambi and his $20 mill will be gone the fallowing year

HUGE week for the NYY...7 games on the road against tough teams while the BoSox play TB and CWS.

If the lead is 4 games a week from now, I will be very surprised. Bos, imo, has to go into the 3 game set in the Bronx the end of Aug. up 5 or 6.

Very true.. If the yankees are in striking distance of 3-4 by that time when they play boston.....LOOK THE FUCK OUT!! That may be the most intense series that will be played all year
