Well Texas was pathetic yesterday only putting up 1 run off fat boy Carlos Silva. Amazing how bad that lineup has truly become. Onto today.

966 Los Angeles - Billingsly -150 Los Angeles has been awful as of late. Billingsly has three losses in a row and in two of those he gave up 1 ER each time out. Chad goes lights out today against a kid making his Major League debut. Usually I like to play on these kids making their first start but Franklin Morales has not been superb this year in the minors. While he is 2-0 he does sport a 3.71 ERA. The most telling sign of whether a pitcher is ready for the jump to me is strikeout to walk ration. 16-13 K/BB for Franklin means he walks a lot of people. Los Angeles has some patient hitters who will work the count on Franklin and make him work hard in his first start here.

956 Atlanta - Carlyle -140 Thank you Mark Teixeira for keeping any chance of us winning the division alive. Carlyle has been lights out at home with a 1.17 ERA in his home starts. Atlanta gets the job done today and makes up a game on the Mets.

954 Washington - Lanaan +135 This kid has been really hot in his last three starts giving up a total of 4 earned runs. The Mets have to be nervous with Atlanta and Philly climbing down up their backs and it will show today.
Parlay
Houston / San Fransisco Germano has not been the same as in the first half of the year. Cain is not as bad as his record indicates.
