Not a big hockey fan but promised myself I would go to my first game this year.The Thrashers brought a little excitement to Atlanta and I heard it was fun.Its amazing how winning brings in new fans.Up until the Ga Force(arena football)started winning no one ever went to the game.I took six of my customers to the conf. championship and even though they lost we all will be buying season tickets next year.Maybe hockey will be the same.Comment

Its fuckin religion down here buddy. We love our hockey just like you Americans love your football. I started playing hockey when I turned 3 years old. Many fathers put their kids in hockey almost as soon as they can walk down here...Originally posted by vols fan

Hockey needs to get back on TV......that sport is sinking quick with no light in sight. How can a major sport not even have a TV deal?
Im from Detroit born and raised and could care less about hockey......ratings prove many agree with me
