I have no strong feelings for the Yanks, but when some passes away as popular as as Phil it is a sad day. RIP Phil Rizzuto!

Even though as a Sox fan I never liked the Yankees, I enjoyed listening to him broadcast the Yankee games on the radio with his unusual style, stories, etc. He was fun and great to listen to.

Phil exuded a certain feeling of warmth when broadcasting, and for me personally along with his knowledge, humor and insight of the gaem, that is why he was a pleasure to listen to on the radio and later tv.
