Us Canadians have a holiday today!!! I love getting paid for staying at home and watching a ball game!!! Anyway, the Jays throw Jesse Litsch on the mound today who had been pitching very well as of late. In his last 2 starts he has only given up 1 ER in 13.2 innings and has an overall ERA of just 3.47 in about 49 IP. Jays hit lefties especially well and Pettite can look shaky at times and on the road. The Jays pick up their 9th straight home win and their 4th straight overall and move ever closer to the wild card position.
