I think the Cubbies right handed bats put the hurt on him early.

Cubs are only (2-5) in their last 7 against left handed starters.

Who does that list consist of? I'm think some decent ones, I know Hamels, Gorzellany??

Good point, but they hit Glavine pretty good.

              Lee .288 with 2 HR
              Floyd .395 with 2 HR
              Ramieriez .500 with 3 HR
              Soriano .389 with 1 HR

I don't think Glavine nor Marquis figures in this decision tonight.....

And he's given up 12 runs against the cubs in his last three starts dating back to '06

That total is that high for a reason tonight IMO

It was nobody who was close to 300 wins. Hell, Zito beat them and he sucks. Hamels, Maholm and Youman were 3 others. Besides Hamels, not much!

Maybe they don't but Glaving has a career ERA against the Cubs of 3.64. They may have hit him but it hasn't hurt his era.

That number seems VERY skewed to me considering his ERA the last two years is 6.24 vs the Cubs, and even going back to 2000, the ERA is 6.24 as well.

Obviously he had success early in his career.

IMO...I'd rather take the stats of the current cubs vs Glavine rather then look at his stats back in the 90's.

He still might shut us out...but the trends say otherwise.

I'm not sure anyone said anything about a shutout.
