  • Chado's "2 unit" CFL Pick for Saturday!!!

    Won again last night with Hamilton winning outright by 3 touchdowns as a 3-6 point underdog to pick up their first win of the season. A big 2 unit play goes for tonight in the battle of Alberta and I love this selection:

    458 Edmonton Eskimos PICK EM (-105) (2 units ) GAME STARTS @ 7:00 PM EST
    This is a big game for both teams as the loser will fall to last place in the West division. The Stampeders lost their last game @ home by 5 points to the Lions. Edmonton just finished a home and home series vs. IMO the best team in the CFL in the Saskatchewan Rough Riders and luckily won the first game by a point in a miraculous comeback. The Eskimos got absoultely humiliated in the second game last week by 40 points. Ricky Ray is one of the best QB's in the league and was unable to do much as the Riders defense is tough as hell. Edmonton now comes home to face Calgary who lead the league in rushing with an average of 126 yards per game and a huge part of it coming from primarily Joffrey Reynolds who averages 5.9 yards per carry. The thing that I like about this is that the Eskimos are fully aware of this and I would expect them to do everything possible to not allow that to happen @ home vs. them. Calgary's QB Henry Burris has completed just 52.3 per cent of his passes with eight touchdown tosses and five interceptions. If the Eskimos can stop Joffrey Reynolds and the Stampeder's run game it will force Burris to have to pass the ball more frequently and that plays right into the hands of the Edmonton defense. The Eskimos dont normally lose as bad as they did last week and are coming off two games vs. the best team in the CFL. Edmonton's QB Ricky Ray has still completed almost 70% of his passes this season in 5 games with 2 of the 5 vs the best defense in the league in Saskatchewan (101 points allowed in 5 games, 20.2 allowed on average) so that is still very impressive. They now face Calgary's terrible defense who has allowed about 30 points against per game on average and Ricky Ray should have a lot more passing room to find holes in the zone and open guys in man coverage. The Eskimos come back home after their humiliating loss last week and get the job done and win this one easily!!!

    AS ALWAYS, GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!
    SOBER SINCE MARCH 28TH OF 2007!!!

                            NFL
                            5* 1-0
                            2* 6-2-1
                            1* 9-4
                            total = 16-6-1
