Detroit - Verlander -165 This is going to go up and up and up. It is already very high, but I will go over my normal high of -160 for this. Detroit's offense woke up last night and will not let Chicago take this 5 game series from them.

Oakland - Haren -125 Ok Jeff Weaver has been pitching better and Seattle has been hot lately, but is he really the type of pitcher who can keep this up? Dan Haren is and even with Oakland's anemic offense I have no problem making this play.

Baltimore - Trachsel -135 Edwin Jackson has been terrible, except against the Yankees. The Orioles can definately not be confused with the Yankees. He gets roughed up today.

Parlay - Detroit/New York Mets +150

San Fransisco - Lincecum -128 This kid has electric stuff and tonight he helps San Fransisco to a series split.

Good luck X, like the plays especially Oakland after Seattle got swept by the Rangers

I should edit that Seattle has been hot lately portion. Seattle was hot, then cooled off exceptionall in Texas. The return home might provide them a boost, but spirits can not be high in Seattle right now. Oakland just took 2 of 3 from the AL West leading Angels and have to be feeling good about themselves right now. Losing Kendall should not hurt as the kid catching now can not do much worse than a .200 batting average. If he hits .250 and provides minimal power he will be a significant upgrade to the over the hill and way overpaid Kendall. Oakland rides this high streak into this series and gets firmly back into the AL West race.
