I am curious to find out how everyone places thier monetary wagers for baseball and hockey. Do you place a straight unit size bet regardless of the line or do you place your bet to win a full unit(-123= bet 123 to win 100)?

swg,my funny-posting brother,i drop my bet according to the line,like if 100 is my normal play and i am laying 50 cents in juice,i will drop my wager to about 70 bucks but if i like a game a lot i am putting extra cheese on it regardless of juice although i rarely lay over 160...

To win the unit on favs and to lay the unit on dogs. Or, if the juice is high, I'll parley sometimes, but still lay the unit on the parley.

If a game has a line of -123 most people will bet $123 to win $100 and if they are underdogs @ lets say +130 it is then $100 to win $130....

Doesnt necessairly mean that you have to bet $100 per unit but mostly everyone bet to win a unit on favorites and to win a unit plus whatever on dogs....

Just like sandman... on a dog I wager an even number of units, on the fav I wager to win an even number units. However, I am a little OCD in that if I like having even numbers so usually I will have at least one parlay to even out the account to a multiple of 5. For example:

After my single game wagers, I have a balance of $123.65

I would parlay something for $8.65 to make it $115 so I have a whole dollar left in my account.

Yes I know very OCD, but it's all good.
