I lost last night on the Rangers who left a million guys on base.
1* Cubs +111
I don't believe in "trap" lines which is why I gladly play this one. How can the Cubs be a home dog right now? The Cubs have won six of their last 7 and 11 of their last 15. They are playing as well as any team in the NL and as much as I get ridiculed every time I say this, it's only a matter of time before they are in first place. Jason Marquis has been shaky but the Cubs are hitting the cover off the ball and Arizona's Webb has been pretty iffy his last few starts. The D-Backs have lost 4 of their last 5 and 11 of their last 15. Arizona's bats were dead in the series against Milwaukee. One other note: as iffy as Marquis has been, the Cubs are 12-7 in his starts.
