Swept the board last night with both underdogs impressively getting the job done. The Bombers won outright and Hamilton was actually winning in the 4th quarter as 16 point underdogs and ended up losing by 4 to cover the +16 which was is something the Ti-Cats should be very proud of themselves for hangin around vs. the best team in the CFL. There is one game tonight on the Canadian football field and I like this selection:
456 Edmonton Eskimos MONEYLINE (-150) STARTS @ 9:00 PM EST
Well, gotta go with the Esks here tonight with good ole Ricky Ray at QB. In a primarily a pass oriented Canadian football league it is hard to go against a guy who on the season has completed 83 of 117 pass attempts (71%) for 892 yards and a QB rating of 98.7. In week 1 Ray was named CFL's top offensive player as he completed 33 of 42 passes for 394 yards, 5 TD's and one interception against the Bombers. Not to mention last season he finished 1st in the league in passing yards with over 5,000 of em. Also tonight could mark a milestone for Ricky Ray as he needs 207 passing yards to tie Tracy Ham for 2nd in passing yards in all-time Eskimo history!!! The Riders got destroyed by BC on their home field last week by 30 pts and Edmonton won outright on the road as 5-6 point dogs in Winnipeg. Saskatchewan should provide a mix QB attack with both Kerry Joseph and Marcus Crandell and with Eskimos 10 year veteran LB A.J. Gass returning to the line up tonight from injury, it should create some problems for the two of em in the secondary. Edmonton gets the job done tonight in front of the home crowd!!!
