  • Huge Play

Just read that Garland might not start because of flu like symptoms, in his place would be the terrible knuckle ball pitcher Charlie Haegar. If you can bet on the Indians with Action on the WhiteSox starter, I would do it. Just trying to help out, don't bet the house.

    Cleveland Indians (-155)

Do remember that if you bet action, you may end up laying more juice. Good luck on the plays

I've never seen that. Every book I've used, allowed me to play the pitchers or not, with no extra juice. Thanks for the info though.

I like the Indians even if Garland does pitch, his history against the Indians, 7-10 with a 5.90 ERA, along with Byrd's history against WhiteSox 6-2 4.61 ERA, along with the Indians home record, along with the knot in Garland's shoulder, made this a play for me no matter what. The fact that Haeger may pitch is just an added bonus as far as I'm concerned.

                    Haeger's AAA numbers
                    4-11 with a 4.81 ERA and a 1.55 WHIP

What I was trying to say, BW, is that the book will adjust your line after the bet to coincide with the new pitcher. Your line could go up

Again, I haven't ever seen that, but I have seen a parlay of mine turn into a straight wager, because of a pitching change. I'd be pretty pissed off if my book changed my lines, like it was horse racing. We'll see I guess. Good luck whatever you guys play.
