I haven't found anything worth posting the past two weeks but these three games stood out when I made my first pass thru todays schedule. When I looked at these three closer, I found a good reason for each game. But remember, the most important thing to me in finding plays is who has been winning lately and who has been losing lately. This three team parley is far from being a sure winner, but you get a lot back, with each of the three teams having good reasons to win.
CHICAGO WHITE SOX +125
They are still a bad team but they are on a three game win streak and Buehrle just got his four year extension, letting him pitch without his future hanging over his head. Another plus is Baltimore losing four of their past five.
TORONTO +127
This one does concern me a little but Boston, after playing well for so long, has lost three of their past four, although they did beat Toronto last night. The pitching matchup is clearly in Toronto's favor with Marcum's road ERA of just 1.83, which I think is one of the best, if not the best in the A.L. He also handles Boston with just a 1.80 ERA in six games against them. Tavarez's best years are behind him and now he is just a journeyman pitcher with an ERA of five. He was shelled his last three starts, going 0-3 with an ERA of 7.36. His two starts this year against Toronto went 5.7 innings, 6 earned runs and 5.3 innings, 3 earned runs.
NEW YORK YANKEES -147
Very simple. As bad as the Yankees have been this season, they still have periods of playing well, which is what they are doing now going 6-2 their past eight games. I'm not going to try and guess when Tampa Bay will win another game. They are a go against team who have just one win in their past eleven games. If you think Kazmir looks good tonight, keep in mind he lost both his starts during Tampa's 1-10 run. As for Clemens, he is a shadow of the Yankees. He started off bad but his last two starts were vintage Clemens. 8 innings in each start, just one earned run in each game.
A $100 three team parley pays $758. I'm also playing a little on each of the two dogs, but the parley is where all the value is. Good Luck if you decide to follow.
