After the break, Boston is home for 11 straight against Toronto, KC & the White Sox. After that, they go to Cleveland for 4 games and then play two series against Tampa Bay & Baltimore. With that schedule, it may be hard to make up ground on Boston.

Agreed...I am a little concerned about the 'O' as I have no faith in Lowell maintaining what was a great first half, Varitek has not had good 2H's the last 2 or 3 yrs and let's hope Pedroia conitnues to be a stud. I think they are a big ? on Offense but, you are right about the pitching. And they got Lester hovering in the background too!

ESPN just reported he has a torn meniscus in his right knee since last summer. Not inflammed so he will not have surgery. This explains a lot....
